About the game
The Doodies have risen from the sewers, and only your squad stands between them and the Golden Throne.
Doody Calls is a full 3D first-person shooter played straight in the browser. Fight through six war zones: a sewage works, a battered high street, a blacked-out shopping mall, a flooded metro line, a desert launch site and an air force base. Each one is five "bowel movements" long, with a boss at the end.
The Doodies fight back with parachute drops from Poo-copters, Doody Tanks and jeeps, rocket-firing Plopper snipers and tougher dark breeds as the war goes on. Every so often the Golden Throne erupts in a Poonami of poo bombs. Later sectors bring the Giga Poo, a monster as tall as a building that only the Flush Nuke can stop.
Weapons include the Plunger-47, the Flush-12 shotgun, the U-Bend .50 sniper, the Poo-zooka and Air Freshener grenades. There are 200 ranks and 27 medals to earn, with online leaderboards to climb.
Under the hood is Glyph, a custom 3D renderer written from scratch. The whole game ships as a single self-contained web page.
